Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Dispatch Coordinator in the Chicago metro area to manage daily technician schedules and coordinate service calls for commercial HVAC operations.

Impact
- Ensure efficient deployment of service technicians to maximize customer response times
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through effective communication and scheduling
- Support revenue generation by optimizing technician utilization and routing
- Keep operations running smoothly with accurate real-time schedule management

Responsibilities
- Manage daily schedules for service technicians across the metro area
- Receive and process incoming service calls from customers
- Dispatch technicians based on location, skillset, and priority level
- Maintain accurate customer database with current contact information and service history
- Communicate lead times and schedule updates to customers and internal teams
- Coordinate emergency service calls and prioritize urgent requests
- Track technician progress and adjust schedules as needed throughout the day
- Generate dispatch reports and monitor key performance metrics

Requirements
Must-Haves
- 2+ years of dispatch or customer service experience, preferably in HVAC or field services
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple priorities

Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and service terminology
- Experience with GPS routing and field service management software
- Background in construction or trades dispatch
- Bilingual English/Spanish
