Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking for a  Social Work Director to work in our facility in  Syracuse, NY .

DUTIES:

\n
• Directs, establishes & plans the overall policies/goals for the Social Services Dept
\n
• Responsible for assessments, care planning & helping residents adjust
\n
• Supervision of Department Staff
\n
• Discharge Planning at start of admission 
\n
• Occasional Community Outreach
\n
• Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices & procedures
\n
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
\n
• Relies on extensive experience & judgment to plan and accomplish goals
\n

REQUIREMENTS:

\n
• 2+ years of Management Experience in LTC settings preferred
\n
• LSW – MSW
\n
• Knowledge of applicable State & Federal guidelines
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills
\n
