Interim Director of Pharmacy Southern California (Administration-Only Role)

Soliant is seeking an experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy to lead a hospital pharmacy team in Southern California. This role is purely administrativeno Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) designation, no staffing shifts, and no compounding or chemo responsibilities. Its an excellent fit for a leader focused on compliance, policy, and operational excellence.
Schedule:
MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM
No on-call requirements
Department Overview:
Pharmacy operating hours: 7:00 AM10:00 PM daily
Remote overnight order entry via Pipeline
Staffing: 56 pharmacists, 67 technicians, plus PRN support
Systems: Paragon/Allscripts for order entry, Pyxis for automation
No IV compounding or chemotherapy preparation required
Key Responsibilities:
Lead administrative, compliance, and operational initiatives
Oversee Policy & Procedure crosswalks, P&T Committee work, MERP, ASP, and Bluesight systems
Manage the Pharmacy Chargemaster effectively
Collaborate with the dedicated 340B program support team
Ideal Candidate:
Strong background in hospital pharmacy administration and compliance
Demonstrated experience with P&T Committee processes, medication safety, and regulatory programs
Comfortable managing operational workflows in a well-resourced department
