Title: Dialysis Technician
Location: Cooperstown, NY 13326
Duration: 3+ Months (Extendable Contract)
Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay Rate:
• Local: $31/hour (W2)
• Travel: $34/hour (40 hours/week)
We are seeking an experienced Dialysis Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient dialysis treatments, ensuring high standards of patient care, and maintaining dialysis equipment in optimal working condition.
Responsibilities:• Prepare and operate hemodialysis machines and related equipment according to established protocols.
• Monitor patients throughout dialysis treatments, including vital signs and machine parameters, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Perform cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of dialysis machines.
• Assist patients with pre-treatment setup and provide education regarding the procedure.
• Accurately document all treatment data and promptly report abnormalities or complications.
• Maintain sterile techniques and a clean work environment to minimize infection risks.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, nephrologists, and other care professionals to ensure quality care.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis processes, dietary considerations, and post-treatment care.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations during dialysis sessions.
• Minimum 2 years of dialysis experience required.
• BLS Certification (AHA) – Required.
• Strong knowledge of dialysis equipment operation, maintenance, and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication and patient-interaction skills.
