Our client is a leading commercial real estate firm who is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Administrator/Paralegal . The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of contract law, negotiation skills, and an ability to manage the life cycle of contracts, specifically within commercial real estate/construction space. This role is on-site located in Royal Oak, Michigan. Client Details Commercial Real Estate | Development | Construction Description Liaise with external Attorneys with contract reviewal for vendor agreements, subcontractor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, etc. Work closely with the internal Contract Administrator team on legal contracts before sending to Attorneys. Ensure that contracts are aligned with laws and regulations accordingly Conduct research on legal matters relating to construction contracts, including local, state, and federal laws that may impact project execution or contract terms. Regularly audit active contracts for compliance and assess whether all parties are meeting their obligations. Assist in resolving contract disputes when necessary. Liaise with project managers, legal teams, and external counsel to ensure timely execution of contracts and resolve any contract-related issues. Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding contractual obligations and modifications. Ensure all contract terms and conditions align with company policies and legal requirements. Identify and address potential legal risks, advising stakeholders on contract obligations, liabilities, and rights. Provide general administrative support to the legal and project management teams, including preparing and filing legal documents, correspondence, and maintaining an organized contract database.
