Job Overview The Technician Compounding Pharmacy II plays a pivotal role in the pharmacy's operations. The Technician assists pharmacists in processing orders and coordinating patient care. Especially instrumental in the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies, the role demands keen attention to detail and a profound commitment to patient care. The Technician is the primary liaison between the pharmacy and its patients ensures the efficient processing of prescriptions and consistently delivers top-notch customer service.
Minimum Requirements 1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience required.
3. Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).
4. Successful enrollment and completion of the AltaMed designated training course within 6 months of hire (if licensure and/or training course is required by the state).
5. Previous healthcare or pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
Compensation $26.13 - $32.55 hourly
