Position Highlights

• Patient Population - Cardiac, Medicine, Surgical, and Nuero
• Full-Time, Onsite
  • Day Shift (4) 10 hr shifts or (5) 8 hr shifts available
• BSN Required
• RN Licensed Required
• ICU experience required
• Benefit eligible on first day of month after start

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Education Specialist for our brand new Multidisciplinary ICU at Barnes Jewish Hospital. This role is ideal for an education leader who thrives on developing others, fostering excellence, and driving high quality patient care through education and engagement. The ideal candidate will lead and mentor ICU staff by promoting clinical excellence, developing and coordinating programs for onboarding, partnering with leadership to enhance employee engagement, utilize technology and evidence based tools to support learning and improve clinical outcomes.

Role Purpose

Creates and implement staff education and professional development activities and programs that optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates ongoing educational and professional development activities and programs for clinical and non-clinical areas.
• Collaborates with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present and or evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education and or professional development opportunities.
• Participates in activities that promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with leadership to assess the educational needs of the staff and develops appropriate education plan.
• Participates in professional development and life long learning.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing

Experience

• 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

• No Experience

Licenses & Certifications

• RN

• Master's Degree
