Job Description

McGhee Engineering is a small, family owned firm. that offers planning, design, and construction phase civil engineering services to our clients in Kentucky and Tennessee. We also offer surveying services, including boundary surveys, subdivisions, topographic and route surveys, and construction staking.

Responsibilities

• Development of plans and specifications for various projects in the water/wastewater field.
• Civil design in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Hydrology/hydraulic calculations, pump station design, pipeline design
• Manage and compile permit and funding applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, P.E. preferred
• 3 - 5 years of civil engineering experience related to pipeline design, drainage design and construction permitting
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Proficient in full Microsoft Office 365 software suite
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
• Client management experience
