About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President to join their team. The successful candidate will be a strategic financial executive with a strong background in the bond market, large capital construction projects, managed care, complex care networks, and large medical groups. The CFO will be responsible for the organization's financial integrity, developing and executing financial strategies, and ensuring the system's financial performance and internal controls are in line with its mission of providing high-quality care. This role requires a leader who is innovative, collaborative, and can influence change among a diverse group of leaders. The CFO will also be involved in establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners and will represent the organization with various stakeholders. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in healthcare delivery system administration, with at least 5 years' in a senior-level finance role. Experience in a non-profit, multi-hospital, integrated healthcare system is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, teamwork, and experience in negotiating strategic partnerships and innovative care models. Strong financial, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles are a must, as is experience in areas such as payer risk-based contracting, ACO/CIN, and managed care. The CFO will also be expected to have a successful background in supply chain contract negotiation, revenue cycle management, and experience with preparing for the issuance of tax-exempt bonds. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree, and a CPA license is also preferred.
