Job Title: Chief Operating Officer/ Chief Financial Officer (COO/CFO)

Location: Farmingdale, New Jersey

Job Type: Full-time Onsite 5 days per week

Compensation: Starting at $250,000 yearly plus bonus\

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer to manage and guide the financial landscape of MedCare. This role will require a deep understanding of healthcare sector financials along with a strong ability to drive operational excellence and business growth.

As the COO/CFO, you will work closely with the business owner to develop, implement, and manage financial strategies that will help MedCare continue to thrive.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Planning:

  • Oversee all financial aspects of the business owner’s accounts, including personal and business financial strategies.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that maximize the business’s growth and personal financial stability.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with the business owner to create detailed budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for both personal and business needs.
  • Ensure clarity and alignment with long-term financial goals for both sectors.

Investment & Asset Management:

  • Advise on personal and business investment strategies, including asset allocation, portfolio diversification, and new opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure the business and personal investment portfolios align with long-term goals and risk tolerance.

Cash Flow Optimization:

  • Monitor and manage cash flow for both business and personal finances, optimizing liquidity and financial flexibility.
  • Identify areas of improvement for cash flow management and propose effective solutions.

Risk Management:

  • Identify financial risks in both personal and business areas, recommending and implementing strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Ensure all financial assets are protected through appropriate risk management practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven 7-10+ years of experience in a senior finance operations role, preferably in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial healthcare setting.
  • Strong expertise in both business finance including budgeting, projections, investments, and risk management.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare sector financials.
  • Experience with financial software tools and systems used for both business and personal finance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to individuals without a financial background.
  • High degree of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive financial matters.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make well-informed, strategic financial decisions under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or certifications such as CPA, CFA preferred).
