About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) to lead its commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. The CDO will be a key figure in the institution's strategic plan, which prioritizes these values. This executive will be a visible and accessible leader, engaging with the community and overseeing a dedicated team. The role involves ensuring institutional alignment with system-wide initiatives and staying abreast of relevant laws and guidelines. The successful candidate will have an earned graduate degree and at least five years of administrative experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice. The ideal CDO for the company will be an experienced and innovative leader with a deep understanding of the issues surrounding diversity and inclusion. They will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating programs that promote these values, and must be well-versed in Title IX, Affirmative Action/EEO, and/or ADA. The role demands a highly collaborative individual who can serve as a thought partner and subject matter expert. The CDO will play a pivotal role in the transformational change the company is undergoing, and will be instrumental in advancing access and embracing innovation within the institution.
