Universal Healthcare Associates is an agency that provides temporary placement at long term care, post acute, rehab and memory care facilities. We are hiring skilled nurses for all shifts in Southern Georgia locations. Flexible shifts are especially available on Evening, Nights, and Weekends. Earn top dollar and control your own schedule.

Provides maximum customer care services within limits defined by delegated tasks

• Assist nurse with admission, discharge and transfer of residents
• Assist the nurse with resident treatments and care
• Bath resident, combs hair, cleans and cuts fingernails
• Follow all safety measures under the direction of the Nurse
• Assists resident in and out of bed, walking and transport via wheelchair, Geri-chair, or stretcher
• Accompany resident to appointments
• Schedule O.T., P.T., S.T. for residents and transport to rehab area
• Take and record weights, blood pressures, temperatures, pulse and respiration in the electronic medical record
• Provide ice and water to resident bedside
• Answer call lights
• Administers bedpans and urinals
• Reports any/all changes in resident condition to nurse
• Collects and bags soiled linen and delivers to dirty linen area
• Cleans and sterilizes customer equipment

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School or GED is preferred
2. Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
3. Required to attend a minimum of 18 hours Continuing Education programs provided by the Center in order to maintain Certification.
4. Must have Certified Nurse Aide and completed Certified Nursing Assistant program.
5. Required 1 year of CNA experience.
