Job Description

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CAD Designer with a solid background in architectural and construction drafting. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience, proficiency with AutoCAD 2019 2D and 3D, and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Produce detailed 2D architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD for a variety of projects.

Ensure all drawings are precise and adhere to project specifications and standards.

Create visually compelling color renderings to help communicate design concepts and architectural layouts to clients and project stakeholders.

Review and assess construction drawings for accuracy, ensuring alignment with project requirements, and recommend revisions or updates as necessary.

Participate in project meetings, collaborate with clients, and provide updates on project status.

Facilitate clear communication between design teams, clients, and project managers.

Assist in translating client needs into actionable design plans.

Qualifications

7 to 10 years of experience in architectural drafting, construction drawing review, and client communication.

Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is required, and proficiency in AutoCAD 3D is essential for design visualization and creating detailed construction models.

Strong understanding of architectural and construction principles, including the ability to interpret and produce construction drawings.

Experience creating professional color renderings to support design presentations.

Ability to produce high-quality drawings and catch errors or inconsistencies during the review of construction documents.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and solutions to clients and team members.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a project team. Comfortable engaging with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
