I-State Truck Center is looking for a Building Maintenance Associate to perform tasks associated with the upkeep of our warehouse, equipment, and buildings at our Sioux Falls, South Dakota location. The right candidate will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are clean, maintained, and functional.

Building Maintenace Job Duties:

• Perform floor cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, polishing of office, warehouse/shops
• Gather and empty trash in offices, warehouse/shops
• Dust and keep clean, walls, furniture, light fixtures, ceiling vents in office and common areas
• Clean and sanitize break room and restrooms, restocking supplies as needed
• Clean machines and equipment in the warehouse/shop areas, including company vehicles
• Keep outside walkways clear of debris and safe

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Clean Driving record, insurable
• Be able to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lifting 75-100 pounds
• Previous experience in a janitorial setting
• Solid written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills and Qualities:

• Positive attitude
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving inventory control processes
• Willing to learn new skills
