Classic Touch Interiors & Restorations is a classic automotive restoration shop located in Englewood, Colorado. We provide full frame off restorations, mechanical, interior, body/fabrication and paint services all under one roof. About Your Role

Classic Touch is currently experiencing a healthy flow of in-bound projects. We need good people to move these beautiful cars through; reliable, skilled technicians and craftsmen with proven, professional experience that truly care about their work, care about producing as a team and have a passion for classic cars.

We are looking for a motivated experienced Body/Paint technician. We are growing, and this position is available due to our business expansion. We are looking for an ambitious technician that is willing to grow with our company. We are busy, and there is plenty of work as our volume is constant. If you're looking for a position that pays well. We are looking to fill this position fairly quickly. Our location is in Englewood.

1. Essential job duties and requirements include:

-Take direction from shop manager.

-Ability to self-manage your time on projects with minimal supervision and for maximum efficiency is paramount. A verbal progress report will be expected every day. We expect strong attention to project deadlines.

-Ability to problem-solve independently as well as brainstorm in a team environment.

1. Daily duties include:

-Sanding original paint or re-pop panel coatings

• Spray sealant on said panels/surfaces - in booth

• Guide coat/block sand

• Masking off as needed

-Utilize and properly maintain all applicable power and hand tools: sanders, spray guns; Hand tools, sanding blocks, etc. in order to complete quality work.

1. Shop Procedure and Tool Maintenance

-Must be willing to assist in duties needed by manager to accommodate daily workflow - such as daily moving of cars or large tools for maximum efficiency.

-Own basic tools and toolbox.

-Use and knowledge of all basic tools paint prep tools. Quick learner.

-Strong understanding of measurements in all units.

-Maintain a clean, safe, and efficiently organized workstation daily.

-Must help maintain a clean shop. Everyone helps clean, no exceptions.

-Disassembly and reassemble vehicle after/before sealant/sanding.

-Perform quality control to avoid defects and “do-overs”.

1. Skills/Requirements include:

-Able to work in different locations.

-Attention to detail.

-Minimum 3 year experience in automotive paint prep environment is necessary.

-Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

-Must be able to walk, bend, push/pull, kneel, crouch, stoop, reach, or crawl.

-Personable, friendly demeanor with customer service approach to internal and external customers

-Multi-tasking and easily adapt to fast paced environment.

-Ability to read and understand basic instructions.

-Must be at least 18 years of age.
