Audit Supervisor - Global Corporate and Investment Banking

The manager is seeking candidates with experience in Internal Audit and Investment Banking.

This role involves independently performing complex audit activities for Lines of Business (LOBs). Key responsibilities include designing and executing audit tests, assessing issues for business impact, recommending severity ratings, and establishing relationships with business partners. The role also involves evaluating the control environment, fostering an inclusive work environment, applying product, business, and technical expertise, and supporting team development.

It is part of the Global Corporate and Investment Banking audit team, covering areas such as equity capital markets, debt capital markets, investment banking, corporate banking coverage, and leasing. The team also manages credit risk and global payment services audits in EMEA.

The candidate will collaborate with teams in EMEA and APAC, with most audits being global. An Audit Supervisor is expected to work independently within their assigned area and may lead small audits.

Responsibilities :

• Execute audit strategies for risk-based auditing, defining scope and leveraging automation and innovative methods effectively
• Apply knowledge of products, business, and technical expertise to challenge management and improve controls
• Assess impacts on business processes, controls, and strategies, providing severity rating recommendations
• Contribute to draft audit reports and communicate findings with business leaders
• Support peer and team development through on-the-job training and promote an inclusive environment
• Establish and maintain business partner relationships, primarily with line management, to deepen business understanding
• Utilize innovative tools to enhance audit efficiency, such as testing automation
• Manage multiple projects utilizing technology and analytics in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications :

• 5-7 years of experience in internal audit, front office control, compliance, or risk management, with 2-3 years specifically in banking
• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Desired Qualifications :

• Knowledge of Global Corporate and Investment Banking sectors (e.g., equity and debt capital markets, investment banking, leasing)
