Job Title: Part-Time Audiologist

Location: 420 Madison Avenue, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10017
Employer: MSO-USA
Compensation: $40-$60/hour + 15% commission on net hearing aid sales, depending on experience.

Position Overview

MSO-USA, a premier hearing care provider management company, located in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a licensed Audiologist for a part-time, hourly position. The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic audiologic services and hearing aid dispensing in a professional, patient-centered environment. This role offers flexible scheduling and an opportunity to work in collaboration with a leading ENT practice. This position, as it develops, may become a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and audiologic testing for adult and geriatric populations.
• Fit, program, and dispense hearing aids , ensuring patient satisfaction and optimal outcomes.
• Take ear impressions and perform follow-up adjustments as clinically indicated.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations , including HIPAA and NYS Department of Health requirements.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in patient education and promote hearing health awareness.
• Travel to designated satellite or outreach locations within New York City, as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to all clinic policies , professional ethics, and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D. ) .
• Active New York State licensure in audiology and hearing aid dispensing (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with audiology diagnostic equipment and hearing aid software.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Compensation and Terms

• Hourly Rate: $40-$60/hour for time worked.
• Commission: 15% on net revenue from hearing aid sales.
• Schedule: Part-time (flexible hours).
• Employment Type: At-will, with a 90-day notice for termination by either party.
• Full compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality, and non-compete provisions as stated in the employment agreement.
