Position: Associate Attorney

Location: Broward County / Orange County / Duval County

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled associate attorney to join our legal debt defense practice group as an integral member of our firm. The candidate should be able to handle a high-volume of consumer debt defense cases, with experience handling hearing appearances, written discovery, depositions, summary judgment, or trial preferred.

Currently, this position will be located in Orange, Duval, or Broward County, FL. The full support and resources of the main office will be available to the attorney. These resources include an in-house IT department, cloud-based client management software, support staff including an intake, file creation, and settlement department, and any required equipment and supplies. This position may require travel to counties surrounding West Palm Beach for court appearances, mileage will be reimbursed.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft, negotiate, and interpret a variety of documents; effectively build relationships with others; and convey complex concepts in a concise and understandable manner.
• Enthusiastic attitude with demonstrated initiative, reliability, and an exceptional drive for results.
• Ability to work independently and under tight timelines, and to plan and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Dedication to client service excellence in a fast-paced, collegial, and engaging environment.
• JD and member of the Florida Bar, in good standing. Previous litigation experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Technologically competent within all Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF products required.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
