Assistant professor, tenure?track, translational research in neurodegenerative disorders at the Rutgers?RWJMS Neurology Department.
Conduct translational research exploring epilepsy in neurodegenerative disorders, develop new research areas in collaboration with Alzheimers disease experts, obtain and maintain extramural funding, publish scientific papers. Provide outpatient care for patients with epilepsy, cognitive disorders and other neurological conditions as permitted by funded research, serve on the general neurology service 3 weeks per year, participate in a protected call schedule, mentor trainees, deliver didactic lectures, and serve on departmental committees.
MD, graduated from an ACGME?accredited neurology residency, board certified or eligible in neurology, completed a fellowship in neuromuscular disorders or related clinical neurosciences, eligible for a New Jersey license. Rank and track consistent with qualifications.
