Job Title: Appliance Installer & Service Tech
Quick Appliance Repair is a locally owned small business that’s been around for over 40 years. Our commitment to customer service has earned us a stellar reputation for reliability, dedication, and excellence in appliance repair. Our service department is currently seeking an Appliance Installer and Service Tech. A Successful candidate will demonstrate technical experience with repairing household appliances, experience with household appliance installation, a professional and outgoing demeanor, customer service skills, basic computer and smart phone skills. We are looking for someone that likes to stay busy, is dependable, and is a quick learner.
We service all major brands of appliances: Whirlpool, Amana, Maytag, KitchenAid, Speed Queen, Jenn-Air, LG, Samsung, Electrolux, Frigidaire, GE, Bosch, Crosley, Miele, Subzero, Thermador, Viking, and more.
Job Duties:
- In home appliance installation, diagnosis, and repair.
- In shop appliance diagnosis and repairs.
- Drive and maintain service van.
- Maintain parts inventory in service van.
- Work with dispatch to maintain on-time scheduling.
- Willingness to attend in-shop and out of area technical training.
- Basic customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to move appliances using dollies and lift gates, ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Compensation:
- Higher wages available depending on experience.
- $18 - $20 per hour, training wage. To be reviewed once training has completed.
- Additional benefits available after completing one year of service.
Candidate Requirements:
- 1-2 Years experience in a relevant mechanical or repair role.
- Open schedule, ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must have basic tools, including voltmeter, drill, and various hand tools.
- Must pass background check and drug test.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Willingness to obtain on the job certifications
- A great attitude and willingness to learn.
