Job Summary

We are looking for qualified candidates for delivery and installation of major appliances (i.e. refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, ranges, hoods, air conditioners).Candidates should be conscientious, dependable, hardworking, physically capable of moving very large refrigerators etc.. and have effective communication skills. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with ROTATING Saturdays. Experience preferred but willing to train .Pay depends on experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Interact professionally with customers daily providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure products are delivered and installed in a timely manner and follow scheduled route for daily deliveries.
• Loading and/or unloading of appliances by hand or with the use of a dolly/straps as well as use of lift gates.
• Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements.
• Load, unload and organize product inventory from warehouse to delivery truck.
• Observe and test operation of appliances following installation and make any initial installation adjustments that are necessary.
• Refer to schematic drawings, product manuals, for proper installation
• Instruct customers regarding operation and care of appliances.
• Maintain service vehicle cleanliness.
• Maintain vehicle installation supplies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must pass criminal, driving, and drug background screening
• Possess a valid driver's license and provide 3 years clean MVD report.
• Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles.
• Ability to read maps and/or utilize GPS devices.
• Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts a plus
• Daily travel required
• Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical skills a plus
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions
• Ability to work professionally with colleagues and be a team player.
• Must be self-motivated and customer oriented.
• Good attitude and work ethic to exceed our customer's expectations
• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.
