Work Modality: 100% in-office

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance department. This role will process, track, and record accounts payable with accuracy and efficiency while maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels. The position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports promptly, ensuring accurate coding, proper documentation, and appropriate approvals
• Reconcile corporate credit card statements and resolve discrepancies
• Generate weekly check runs and coordinate electronic payment transfers
• Monitor bank accounts for outgoing wire and EFT activity related to accounts payable
• Establish and maintain organized vendor files and payment records
• Serve as point of contact for vendors and employees regarding invoice and payment inquiries
• Provide support during financial audits and other compliance reviews
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department
• Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or minimum one year of direct accounts payable experience
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
• Positive approach to internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience with accounting software systems preferred
