We are currently seeking a dynamic, driven, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent 2nd Shift Packaging Lead. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our packaging lines, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
As a 2nd Shift Packaging Lead, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing the operation of packaging lines, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
2. Ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards.
3. Coordinating with the production team to ensure seamless integration of packaging activities with overall production schedule.
4. Implementing and maintaining safety and sanitation protocols in the packaging area.
5. Training and mentoring packaging staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
6. Troubleshooting packaging equipment issues, coordinating with maintenance team as necessary.
7. Conducting regular quality checks, ensuring the integrity and quality of our packaged products.
8. Participating in inventory management, ensuring adequate supply of packaging materials.
Qualifications
To be considered for the 2nd Shift Packaging Lead position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in food production.
2. Proven knowledge and understanding of GMP and HACCP standards.
3. Demonstrated experience in managing packaging lines, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; certification in a related field is a plus.
